Timetable and line validity throughout the year
The CTM service is structured as follows:
- winter service: operated for 273 days per year from September to June;
- summer service: operated for 92 days per year from June to September; coincides with the school closing and reopening period; during the summer, in addition to the normal reinforcement of lines to the Cagliari and Quartu S.E. seafront, some lines (11, 5ZEeus, PEX and 3P) are activated for a direct transport service to the beaches. During the same period the Amicobus service is activated, enabling people with disabilities to reach the beaches along the seafront.
- service for national holidays: operated on Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day;
- services dedicated to specific user categories: operated on special lines for workers and students;
- service for special events: operated on the occasion of fairs, sporting events, artistic events, etc.
Weekday and holiday service
Both the winter and summer services are also divided into weekday and holiday service. In particular:
- Monday to Friday: enhanced weekday service with the maximum number of vehicles;
- Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: service undergoes a slight reduction.
In addition, some lines have a further breakdown by day of the week.
Daily service coverage
CTM service coverage: from 04:00 to 00:50 for the regular service

Useful tips for getting the most out of CTM services
For correct trip planning, we recommend:
- identifying your departure and arrival points on the CTM network map
- checking the most suitable line on the map (see frequencies and days of operation)
- checking the map for any interchange points with other lines
Waiting at the stop:
On average, it is half the frequency interval of the bus service
(e.g. for a line with 10-minute frequency, the wait is 5')
N.B. – On average, almost the entire CTM service area can be reached with a maximum of two lines
